Watercolour & Gouache

I enjoy working on small watercolour paintings for their intimacy, tenderness, and precious quality.

Many of my small watercolours explore personal memories and moments, sometimes referencing old photographs and family history. I feel the watercolours can create something akin to a mirage or a vignette through its often hazy, dreamy, flowing and fluid mark making potentials.
